Tennis school Sport Bonaire is situated at the Harbour Village Tennis Center in Kralendijk, Bonaire, Dutch Caribbean . The
tennis school is founded in 1995. Owner Elisabeth Vos is an ITF Advanced Coach Level II and a Dutch licenced KNLTB A & B
trainer. She teaches adult and youth classes, organizes tournaments and competitions, and runs the Harbour Village Tennis

The HVBC Singles Competition 2012;
The Singles Competition 2012 will be split in 3 categories: Open (participants 1997 and older), 30+ and 50+. The players will
play monthly matches according to a schedule, except for July. The Men will play very likely on a Monday night, the Ladies on a
Tuesday night. By the end of the year all finals will be played. An invitation will go out to all players on Bonaire.
The HVBC Mens Doubles Competition 2012;
All male players on the island of Bonaire can participate in the monthly Doubles Competition; 2 categories will be played, Open
(participants 1997 and older) and 30+. Monthly matches will be scheduled, very likely on a Wednesday night, and the results
will create the Bonaire ranking order 2012. By the end of the year the finals will be played.
The HVBC Ladies Team Tennis Competition 2012;
All female tennis players ( 1997 and older) on the island are invited to join this competition. Each team has 2 or 3 players, and
will play 2 Singles and 1 Doubles match. The matches will very likely be played on a Sunday night. The 2012 competition will
have 2 categories, so all female players on the island can join. Teams accumulate their points through the year. First round of
2012 will be announced soon. Finals will be played at the end of the year.
The HVBC Mixed Doubles Competition 2012;
The HVBC Mixed Doubles Competition 2012 will be split in 2 levels, participation for players 1997 and older. Each category will
have a maximum of 8 teams, and every month there will be a competition round except for July. The matches will very likely be
planned for a Saturday night. Finals will be played at the end of the year.

The rules of tennis have been changed! Per January 2012 all under 10 events have to be played on smaller courts with slower
balls. Red, Orange and Green balls for 3 different age-groups are going to be used for all tournaments! This means that all
clubs and all trainers will have to use the new materials for all U10 practise. For parents that would like more information please
click here for the ITF website .Focus is on "easy, fun and healthy" without too much attention for scores, ranking, etc etc.
Competition should come much more in team format, where all participants play equal number of matches, and points will be
given to their team for example. The kids will develop a love for the sport first, and later the better ones will go more into
competitive tennis.

SB YOUTH Team Competition 2012:
The SB Team competition for the RED, ORANGE, GREEN, YELLOW and SGB teams will start soon. All players will receive an
invitation to sign up,either as a team or as individual, where SB than will put teams together.

Congratulations to all Sport Bonaire players who won 5 Championship titles and 4 Runner up Titels!!!!
The 2011 Champions of Bonaire are here!!!! Over the last 3 weeks the BLTB Masters were played for the Adults an the Juniors
and BLTB crowned their 2011 Champions last Saturday. Congratulations to James Finies (Mens Champion) , Elisabeth Vos
(Ladies Champion), Kaile Finies (Girls 18 Champion), Zaira Groenendal (Girls 18 Runner up), Chloe Paiman (Girls 14
Champion), Yannick Finies (Boys 12 Runner up) , Hanne Wolthuis (Girls 12 Champion), Charlotte Botterop (Girls 12 Runner
up), Camilla DeAnda (Girls 10 Runner up).
